DESENVOLVIMENTO DE BRÁQUETE DE ZIRCONIA POR MEIO DO SISTEMA CAD/CAM
The application of computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology in the development of dental prostheses has brought about significant innovations in the field of dentistry. This advance is based on the development of a virtual model through direct digital scanning of the mouth, models, or molds. This technology allows the scanned structure to be projected and mapped in three-dimensional (3D) modeling software, such as SolidWorks, facilitating the creation of parts with a significant reduction in clinical and laboratory time. It is a low-cost alternative to brackets produced by conventional injection methods. The objective of this study is to manufacture zirconia brackets by CAD/CAM milling at three different scales (real, 2x, and 3x) and assess the feasibility and quality of the final products
