Research on the Prediction Method of Growth Potential in the Posterior Mandibular Molar Region Based on Genetic Algorithm Optimization

The growth potential of the posterior mandibular molar region is a critical research area in orthodontics and maxillofacial surgery. Accurate prediction of its growth potential is essential for developing personalized treatment plans. This paper proposes a prediction method for the growth potential of the posterior mandibular molar region, optimized using a genetic algorithm. By collecting and analyzing relevant clinical data, a predictive model was built, and a genetic algorithm was applied to optimize the model parameters, enhancing the prediction accuracy. Experimental results show that, compared with traditional methods, the optimized model performs better in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. This study provides new insights into predicting mandibular growth potential, helping to improve the scientific and practical effectiveness of clinical treatment plans.
