Boosting Electrochemical Performance via Extra‐Role of La‐Doped CeO2‐δ Interlayer for “Oxygen Provider” at High‐Current SOFC Operation (Adv. Sci. 46/2024)
Advanced Functional Oxygen Storage Layer In article number 2402348, Hyung Tae Lim, Tae Ho Shin, and co‐workers introduce the extra role of the La‐doped ceria cathode interlayer as an “oxygen provider”, which can boost the electrochemical performance and durability due to its easily storage‐releases oxygen ion under oxygen deficient and excess conditions. This additional role offers insight into the oxygen pressure distribution inside solid oxide fuel cell devices, thereby allowing us to optimize the operation condition. [Image: see text]
