Application of Electrical Resistivity Tomography for underground box culvert detection
Abstract The detection of underground box culverts is a crucial aspect in the process of urban planning and development. Based on the specific geological conditions encountered during underground box culvert surveys in particular cities, a geoelectric model is constructed. Utilizing the RES2DINV and RES2DMOD software from Electrical Resistivity Tomography, we carry out forward and inverse calculations for underground box culverts under conditions of either high or low resistivity, employing a dipole-dipole array. This study summarizes the resistivity characteristics of box culverts and, ultimately, Analysis of Dipole-Dipole Array Response Characteristics for Box Culvert Detection Targets in High and Low Resistivity Environments Formed Under Different Moisture Conditions.
