Targeted K‐Edge Nanoprobes From Praseodymium and Hafnium for Ratiometric Tracking of Dual Biomarkers using Spectral Photon Counting CT (Adv. Sci. 46/2024)

Multicolor X‐ray imaging for Osteoarthritis Tracking A novel pair of metal nanoprobes based on praseodymium (green) and hafnium (red) are designed to specifically target two complementary biomarkers of osteoarthritis (OA) progression. The approach relies on K‐edge imaging method using next‐generation spectral photon counting computed tomography (SPCCT) for accurate delineation and ratiometric quantification of nanoprobe accumulation in the bone joint cartilage achieving high sensitivity in dual probe detection. More details can be found in article number 2408408 by Dipanjan Pan and co‐workers. [Image: see text]
