THE INFLUENCE OF AGROFORESTRY ON SOIL EROSION OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS IN THE STEPPE OF THE VOLGA UPLAND

In the article, based on the author's research, the process of adaptation of the regional economic system and its elements to changes in the factors of the external and internal environment of functioning is considered, new directions for adapting regional development to the current conditions are proposed. It is concluded that the ability to adapt is based on the level of accuracy in determining negative trends and the effectiveness of managerial decisions to eliminate these phenomena. The sooner the region can identify negative trends and restructure its activities, the more efficiently the region's economy will function.A system can be called adapted if it is able to identify and respond to external challenges in a timely manner, and quickly make changes to management at an early stage. The higher the level of adaptability, the more effective regional development, the more opportunities it has to realize the existing potential.
