TO DETERMINE SOME PARAMETERS OF LOW-DENSITY WOOD CUTTING TOOLS
The text examines the effect of the rear angle of the tool on its back surface, determined by the shape, position and condition relative to the cutting surface. The condition of the back surface affects the coefficient of friction and can cause vibrations when cutting soft wood. The text also discusses the designs of tools for machining soft wood. The main idea is that the rear angle of the tool plays an important role in its effectiveness and affects the processing of the material, especially in the case of soft wood. Analyzing the condition of the back surface and choosing the right tool design are key aspects to achieve optimal results in machining materials.
