Measurements of Admittance and Directivity Pattern of a Single Longitudinal Slot in a Rectangular Waveguide

This article presents the results of a study of the characteristics of a rectangular X-band waveguide short-circuited at the end with a longitudinal slot in a wide wall. The dependence of the complex conductivity of the slot on its length is examined. The measurement results are compared with theoretical calculations and electrodynamic simulation results.

Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of the characteristics of a rectangular X-band waveguide short-circuited at the end with a longitudinal slot in a wide wall. The dependence of the complex conductivity of the slot on its length is examined. The measurement results are compared with theoretical calculations and electrodynamic simulation results.
