Optimization of Roadside Assistance Tow Truck Services Provided to Insured Individuals with Traffic and Comprehensive Insurance Policies

The study focuses on optimizing tow truck services for Anadolu Sigorta policyholders with traffic and comprehensive insurance. Tow trucks are positioned strategically to minimize time and distance, ensuring quick access to vehicles. The research determined the optimal number and locations of tow trucks by analyzing assistance request distributions, focusing on provincial and sub-regional levels. Data was collected from major cities, including accident locations and timestamps. Algorithms extracted geographic coordinates, and clustering techniques like k-Means and k-Medoids identified ideal tow truck locations. Using OSMNX, distances between cluster points and main roads were calculated. A dataset of 161,420 accident records was processed using Oracle SQL, Python, and KNIME.
