Co-optimization of Active and Reactive Power in Flexible Distribution Networks

To improve the operational efficiency and stability of distribution networks, a two-stage coordinated optimization model for flexible distribution networks with intelligent soft switches is proposed to address issues such as increased voltage fluctuations and active power losses due to high proportions of distributed energy sources integrated into the grid. The model aims to minimize system network losses and voltage deviations, determining the operation states of discrete devices on a daily basis and rolling optimization of the output of continuous devices within the day to mitigate the impact of prediction errors and further enhance the economic operation of the distribution network. The proposed model is validated using the improved IEEE 33-bus system, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
