Modeling and Evaluation of Multi-time Scale Demand Response Capability of Charging Stations Considering Vehicle-Pile Information

Under the dual-carbon policy, the rapid growth of Electric Vehicles(EV) on a large scale and the large-scale configuration of charging piles have threatened the safe operation of the distribution network. As a bridge for massive EVs to access the grid, charging stations can participate in grid-side demand response by aggregating EV loads as generalized energy storage devices through incentives. However, due to the self-interest, mobility and other uncertainties inherent in EVs, it is easy to lead to the failure of the quantization of charging station’s demand response capability. Therefore, this paper firstly establishes a Generalized Energy Storage Model(GESM) for charging stations considering vehicle-pile information and users’ subjective responsiveness, and secondly establishes an evaluation model for the demand response capacity of charging piles with multiple time scales, which reduces the uncertainty of charging station’s callable capacity to the greatest extent, and provides conditions for the realization of charging station’s participation in demand response. Finally, the arithmetic example shows that the scheme proposed in this paper has some reference significance for the capacity evaluation of charging stations participating in demand response.
