Design and Implementation of a Finger Rehabilitation Device for Stroke Patients

After a stroke, finger dysfunction poses a significant challenge to patients' daily life and work ability. This study introduces a novel finger movement testing and training device for post-stroke finger rehabilitation. The device consists of pressure sensors, gyroscopes, infrared distance measurement modules, and other components, enabling precise measurement of key parameters such as fingertip force, flexion-extension angle, and movement distance. By comparing test data from the affected and unaffected hands, the device can quantitatively assess the affected hand's finger movement function and provide personalized active training programs based on the evaluation results. Additionally, the device simulates keyboard operations in office scenarios, aiding patients in returning to work. By integrating training and assessment, this device overcomes the limitations of current methods and offers a new solution for post-stroke finger rehabilitation.
