A certificateless signature scheme for power Internet of Things based on Geohash
With the relentless advancement of satellite communication technologies, the penetration of the power Internet of Things has significantly deepened. As the important energy data, the power data uploaded to the satellite usually needs encryption measures to ensure its security and controllability. Certificateless encryption emerges as a prevalent choice in this regard, yet the existing schemes fall short in authenticating the genuineness of terminal devices or users. To address the limitation, a certificateless signature scheme for power Internet of Things based on Geohash is introduced. In the proposed scheme, the key generation center is capable of verifying the authenticity of a terminal device by utilizing the Geohash value associated with the device's geographical location. In addition, by integrating an elliptic curve-based certificateless encryption mechanism, our scheme minimizes computational overhead and enhances overall efficiency. Further, the performance analysis proves that the proposed scheme has higher computational efficiency than other existing schemes.
