RIS-Assisted Beam Tracking Based on Millimeter Wave V2I Communication
Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) brings a new paradigm for the future of mobile communications by building intelligent and controllable wireless environments. A beam tracking algorithm based on RIS selection is proposed for the scenario of multiple RISs assisted millimeter wave vehicle-to-infrastructure communication in this paper. The aim is to maximize the performance of beam tracking while selecting as few RISs as possible to assist communication. The simulation results show that the proposed beam tracking algorithm in this paper has better performance than the traditional beam tracking algorithm based on signal-to-noise ratio.
