A Location privacy protection scheme based on k-anonymity and group signature
With the increasing prevalence of location-based services, concerns about user privacy leakage are also growing, thus the issue of location privacy protection is receiving increasing attention. A critical method for this is k-anonymity, which obscures individual location data by blending it with fake location data. However, existing k-anonymity schemes lack audit functionality for data usage, which is an essential function for emergency and public safety scenarios requiring prompt location access. We introduce a location privacy protection scheme based on k-anonymity and group signature, it not only enhances the location privacy protection ability, but also makes the contribution to the location tracking in special cases. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, proposed scheme reflects the effectiveness of anonymous privacy protection and the feasibility of location tracking.
