An Upper Limb Rehabilitation Device Based on Functional Electrical Stimulation
More than half of stroke patients suffer from upper limb motor dysfunction, and traditional rehabilitation treatments have limited therapeutic effects. Functional electrical stimulation is an effective rehabilitation method. This article developed an intelligent upper limb rehabilitation training device. This device allows real-time independent control of frequency, amplitude, and positive and negative pulse widths for each channel. Additionally, an external control interface has been developed to address the issues of limited channels, low adjustable parameters, and the lack of an external control interface in conventional systems. The experimental results indicate that with the assistance of the device, subjects can perform continuous motion without self-intervention, laying a foundation for the development of related research work.
