Dynamic Three-Dimensional Spinal Model Based on Biological Anatomy Mechanisms

Given the necessity to monitor the dynamic information pertaining to the human spinal column, this work introduces a dynamic three-dimensional spinal model based on the anatomical structure and spatial positioning information of the human spine. The objective of this model is to analyze the kinematic characteristics of the human spinal column during flexion and extension movements. The model is capable of utilizing a reduced set of angular variation parameters as input to process the motion trajectories of individual vertebral segments of the spinal column during flexion and extension processes. The relevant parameters within the model are collected through the VICON system and compared with spatial positioning information acquired from the VICON system. The results indicate that the model can effectively capture the spatial positional changes of the vertebrae throughout the entire flexion process, providing an effective method for the design of dynamic spinal motion monitoring.
