A Certificate Less Group Signature Scheme for Power Internet of Things based on CoSi Protocol

As power satellites continue to evolve, the security of the large amounts of data transmitted to these satellites has become increasingly important. To ensure the authenticity and integrity of data sources, signature technology emerges as an essential solution. The CoSi (Collective Signature) protocol, known for its ability to facilitate signatures by a diverse, decentralized, and scalable group of witnesses, is particularly apt for group signature applications. In light of this, the paper presents a certificateless group signature scheme that leverages the CoSi protocol. The scheme achieves the collective signature from multiple terminal devices in the form of a group, which improves the efficiency of signature and verification. Additionally, it integrates a certificateless mechanism utilizing elliptic curve cryptography, which not only alleviates the complexities of certificate management but also reduces computational overhead. The security analysis proves that our proposed scheme can resist the selective ciphertext attack, and the performance analysis demonstrates superior computational efficiency in comparison to existing schemes.
