Aquastream Integrated Communication System

The system for light-based communication for data and audio transmission and exploration of its potential applications in scenarios where traditional wireless communication methods are impractical or unavailable is suggested in the proposed paper. The implementation of a light-based communication system, specifically utilizing the 5v laser diode for data transmission and a BPW34 photodetector as receiver. The objective is to establish a method for transmitting either data or audio signals through laser using ESP32 WROOM 32 board at both the transmitter and receiver end. At the receiver end, the received light signals are converted back into audio signals using the photodetector and played through a speaker for audio and the transmitted bits are converted back to text and displayed on the OLED for data. The system leverages the ESP32 board pins for signal processing and control, along with basic analog-to-digital conversion and PWM capabilities.
