Analysis of Load Voltage Drop Faults During Solid Static Switch Transfer Operation and Corresponding Improvement of Auxiliary Circuits
This paper addresses the issue of voltage drops across the load during switching of the solid state transfer switch (SSTS) with an auxiliary switching loop. This problem can lead to insufficient power supply to the loads, resulting in economic losses and industrial safety issues. Therefore, a multiplexed structure is put forward based on the existing auxiliary commutation branches, which can compensate for the voltage drop. The composite circuit reduces the voltage drop of the load during the switching process by increasing the equivalent capacitance, while the multiplex circuit simplifies the composite passive device structure. Simulation and comparisons verify the feasibility and innovation of the proposed structure.
