Research on the Application of Integrated Communication Technology in Airports
Efficient and smooth communication command and dispatch is an important prerequisite for effectively handling various emergencies at airports in a short period of time. A typical flight support process in a large hub airport typically involves over 10 departments, 20 milestones, and over 100 task assignments and uploads. This type of support process may reach thousands of times per day, with over 10000 cross departmental, cross system, and cross terminal communications. A single telephone dispatch or manual switching of communication terminals can no longer fully meet the huge communication needs. The integrated communication technology can integrate and apply various communication modes with different transmission links, protocol standards and usage modes, and combine audio, video and positioning elements to achieve direct and seamless communication between different terminals. Therefore, building an interconnected integrated communication platform and applying it to the operation and command of large airports will effectively improve the efficiency and quality of various tasks.
