Research on EMI suppression and ripple reduction of Cuk converter based on chaotic spread spectrum and soft-switching technology
In this paper, a method that combines chaotic spread spectrum and soft-switching technology is proposed to suppress Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) noise in Cuk converters. Firstly, the basic principles of chaotic spread spectrum and soft switching technology were analyzed, and the two technologies were introduced into the Cuk converter to effectively suppress EMI noise in the converter, but the spread spectrum technology increases output voltage ripple. Then a ripple elimination circuit is designed to effectively reduce the ripple. Finally, SIMPLIS simulations confirm the method’s effectiveness. This paper demonstrates this novel approach that not only suppressed the EMI noise of Cuk converters, but also reduced the output voltage ripple.
