A short-term low-carbon economic dispatch method of power system considering carbon capture units and optimized mixed coal combustion
In order to response the carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy and enhance the emission reduction level of thermal power units, a short-term low-carbon economic dispatch model considering carbon capture units and mixed coal combustion is established. Firstly, analyze various coal emission requirements of thermal power units and consider the refined emission process of thermal power units. Secondly, take combustion characteristics of different coal types into account and propose a new thermal power unit operational method with mixed coal combustion. Then, rebuild thermal power units with carbon capture equipment and construct a short-term low-carbon economic dispatch model combining the economy and low-carbon benefits of carbon capture units. Finally, case studies demonstrate that the proposed method effectively reduces CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> emission while optimizing system economic operation.
