Consideration of risk variations in decision-making for large users participating in medium- and long-term market transactions
With the proposal of the Carbon Peak and Neutrality Goals, the coupling between the electricity market and the carbon market has been further strengthened. Formulating strategies for large users to participate in electricity and carbon market transactions while considering risk preferences is beneficial for improving user transaction benefits. The paper proposes a decision-making model considering risk variations for large users participating in both the carbon market and the long-term electricity market. Unlike other studies, in formulating trading plans, we utilize a rolling model to re-predict the original risk coefficient based on market changes. The aim is to enhance the purchasing benefits for large users while reducing the risks associated with electricity and carbon procurement.
