Photovoltaic active standby control strategy based on grid-forming inverter
The use of grid connected inverters for photovoltaic units is crucial for the stable operation of the new energy grid. To solve the problems of traditional photovoltaic load shedding operation being greatly affected by irradiance and inaccurate reserved power, a photovoltaic active standby control strategy based on forming-grid inverters is proposed. Firstly, a photovoltaic grid connected structure was designed, which includes a reference array and a backup array. Secondly, based on the dual stage photovoltaic topology structure, active standby control is introduced in the front stage DC/DC, and a forming-grid control strategy is introduced in the rear stage DC/AC to achieve active participation of photovoltaic units in grid frequency regulation; The control strategy introduces constant DC capacitor voltage control to maintain the DC voltage while enhancing the inertia characteristics of the photovoltaic unit. The simulation results have verified the correctness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy.
