Step Resolution-Based Optimal Capacity Configuration of Renewable Microgrids with Shared Hybrid Energy Storage
To address the challenges of high investment cost, long payback period, and time-series capacity mismatch in selfbuilt energy storage for renewable energy microgrids, we propose an optimal allocation strategy for renewable energy park microgrids, considering shared electricity-hydrogen hybrid storage. First, an operation mechanism is proposed for PV park microgrids to participate in electricity-hydrogen hybrid storage sharing. Next, a pricing method for shared hybrid storage services is formulated based on the full life cycle cost, incorporating both throughput and capacity prices. Finally, annual capacity planning for the renewable energy park microgrid is conducted using step resolution instead of the conventional hourly resolution. The proposed method is verified to effectively reduce the annual operating cost for the microgrid and promote the consumption of renewable energy.
