Application of 3D Anatomy Software in Undergraduate Teaching and Professional Training of Rehabilitation Engineering Major
“Prosthetics and Orthotics” is a core course for senior students of rehabilitation engineering, covering the intersection of rehabilitation engineering, medicine and treatment. The teaching focus is on the assembly and production skills of prostheses and orthotics, which is the basis for cultivating professional talents. The difficulty of the course lies in understanding its working and design principles, involving multidisciplinary knowledge. 3D anatomy software helps students to intuitively understand the structure of the human body, and deepen their understanding by combining case teaching. This study selected 40 undergraduate students from Shanghai University of Technology to explore the application effect of 3Dbody in the teaching practice of prosthetics and orthotics. Course analysis shows that the teaching focus is on design assembly, production skills and clinical application, and the difficulty lies in understanding the working principle and design principles, and interdisciplinary knowledge integration. Targeted teaching methods and means help to break through the difficulties and improve the teaching quality. In summary, 3D anatomy software has a positive application effect in the teaching of prosthetics and orthotics, which helps to improve the teaching quality and students' understanding ability.
