Optimal dispatch of power system based on joint operation of power plants with carbon capture technology and wind energy
Global warming is becoming increasingly serious, and it is imperative to reduce carbon emissions. As the largest carbon-emitting industry, the power industry is responsible and obligated to reduce carbon emissions. First, carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology is introduced into traditional thermal power plants, and carbon capture power plants are built to capture and store emitted carbon to achieve low-carbon operation. Secondly, using wind energy as a power generation energy, its clean characteristics can realize low-carbon or even zero-carbon operation of wind power generation. Finally, the carbon capture power plant is combined with wind energy to improve carbon capture technology, reduce carbon emissions, improve wind power consumption, carbon capture efficiency, and the economy of the power system.
