Effects of Sensor Placement in Cancer Imaging with Terahertz Radiation
Cancer, especially breast cancer, is a widespread and devastating disease around the world. Early detection is essential for effective treatment. Terahertz imaging has potential for cancer detection. The placement of the sensor has an impact on the imaging results. The optimal distance between the sensor and the object is 0.5 mm, which minimizes diffracted wave effects. This research can contribute to the development of THz imaging systems.
