Coupling Evaluation of New Energy Consumption Levels and Resource Potential
To promote the sustainable development of new energy, it is of great significance to clarify the level of new energy consumption and resource potential in each province. In this study, firstly, the assessment indicators of new energy consumption level and new energy resource potential are selected, and the CRITIC-TOPSIS method is used to determine the weights of the indicators and make a comprehensive assessment. Secondly, the coupling level of new energy consumption level and resource potential in each province is calculated using the coupling degree model. Finally, the K-means clustering method is used to cluster the new energy development of each province. The new energy data of 31 provinces in 2022 are utilized for empirical analysis. The results show that Inner Mongolia, Henan, and Shandong have the highest new energy consumption level; Xinjiang, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia have the highest new energy resource potential; Inner Mongolia, Yunnan, and Qinghai have the highest coupling level; and 31 provinces can be divided into seven categories.
