Development of High and Low Temperature Testing System for Solenoid Valves

The aviation solenoid valve, as a vital component in the aircraft fluid control system, has a direct impact on the system’s overall performance. In accordance with the requirements of the project partners, a high and low-temperature performance testing system for aviation fuel solenoid valves has been designed. Initially, the hydraulic system was engineered based on the specific testing requirements of the solenoid valve. Subsequently, the utilization of Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) facilitated the control of the system, enabling it to meet the testing conditions of high and low temperatures, as well as low atmospheric pressure. Finally, the fuel solenoid valve underwent static flow tests and step response tests on the test bench, successfully meeting the demands of the partners.
