Analysis of Cybersecurity Competencies as A Factor for Organizations' Cyber Defense

The article examines contemporary cyber challenges in organizations. A theoretical review of sources on the issues of cyber security competences and the European regulatory framework has been carried out. A developed methodology for research and evaluation of some of the important competencies in the field of cyber security is proposed. A specialized empirical study has also been developed. Its data has been summarized and analyzed, and the results show a growing need for training to improve users' knowledge, skills and competencies.
