ASSESSMENT OF THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCESOF STUDENTS OF ECONOMIC SPECIALTIES:A UNIVERSAL APPROACH

The article is devoted to the study of the process of assessing the level of development of professional competencies of future economic specialists. The main difficulties of implementing this process during the training of students of economic specialties in higher education institutions are identified. Options for solving the identified problems are proposed. The most appropriate approach to conducting an effective assessment of the level of development of students' professional competencies in the process of their education is substantiated, which is universal and quite simple to use. The use of this approach in the practice of training specialists for various sectors of the national economy will allow us to obtain a general idea of the level of development of the studied competencies among students at different stages of their training, which in turn will allow us to correctly select technologies, methods and methods of their training and timely make the necessary adjustments to the educational process.
