ANOMIE AS A FACTOR OF MODERN SOCIAL CRISES:THE ESSENCE AND THE POSSIBILITY OF OVERCOMING IT
The article is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of social anomie and its relationship with social crises in modern society. Based on the classical understanding of anomie, developed in the studies of E. Durkheim and R. Merton, as an abnormal stage of social dynamics, which violates solidarity and contributes to the increase in deviant behavior in society, the article puts forward the thesis about the causal ambivalent nature of the relationship between anomie and social crises. Attempts to rethink the phenomenon of anomie in modern complexly organized global society are considered. A broader understanding of anomie in contemporary research is noted. As a theoretical and methodological basis for overcoming or minimizing the consequences of anomie, it is proposed to use the concepts of “compassionate consciousness” and “non-alibi in being” developed in the philosophy of M. Bakhtin. The article emphasizes the importance of forming an ethical attitude of the subjects of modern society and their active role in confronting social anomie.
