<scp>RIS–Assisted Propagation Control in CDMA‐FBMC‐OQAM System</scp>
ABSTRACT This framework incorporates the Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS)–assisted propagation control in Code Division Multiple Access‐Filter Bank MultiCarrier‐Offset Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (CDMA‐FBMC‐OQAM) system. In this system, the modulated signal is reflected by the RIS, which is composed of many tiny passive reflecting elements, and then transmitted through the channel to the receiver. The multiple reflected signals from the RIS are collected at the receiver and then FBMC demodulated and then CDMA despread, which improves the Instantaneous Signal‐to‐Noise‐Ratio (ISNR) of the detected signal. As a result, Bit‐Error‐Probability (BEP) performance is improved.
