OPERATIONAL TESTS OF THE MODIFIED AKM RIFLES
Paper presents results of the operational tests of AKM rifles modified with commercial parts kits. Modifications were aimed at improving ergonomics of the gun. Among others, modifications included stock, fore guard, pistol grip, safety switch and trigger mechanism. Research included trigger force examination and live firing tests which allowed to evaluate effects of the modifications on the ergonomics of the rifles.
