Simulation and analysis of shuttle vehicle dynamic characteristics
Abstract Because of its high efficiency, flexibility, and intensive advantages, shuttle trucks are beginning to be used in the logistics field of various industries. When the logistics shuttle trucks are involved in a collision, it will cause huge economic losses and social costs. It is of great significance to carry out the shuttle crash test to reproduce the crash response and to evaluate the safety performance of the shuttle. In order to ensure the testability and safety of the shuttle crash test, it is necessary to analyze and predict the dynamic behavior of the shuttle during the whole test process before the test. In this paper, based on NASTRAN dynamic simulation software, a multi-body dynamic simulation model of the shuttle car under acceleration, uniform speed, and deceleration is established to verify the safety and reliability of the shuttle car under normal driving. The dynamic response of the shuttle car in the collision test at a speed of 5 m/s is investigated, and the results show that the overall structural strength of the shuttle car meets the safety requirements.
