Design and analysis of AGM explosion proof plug automatic assembly and inspection production line

Abstract In order to achieve the automatic assembly and inspection of AGM battery explosion-proof plug bodies and acid-absorbed mats, this paper proposes a novel automatic assembly production line. The production line is designed for the assembly and functional testing of the explosion-proof plug bodies and acid-absorbed mats, aiming to enhance the automation level of assembly and testing processes for this product within the enterprise. Based on the requirements and operational conditions of the enterprise, the structure of the entire automatic assembly production line was designed using SolidWorks software. Furthermore, structural analysis and operational principles of crucial components were conducted. Static analysis of critical components of the grasping and translating mechanism within the device was performed using ANSYS software, validating the feasibility of its structural design.
