Development and performance analysis of a hybrid visible light communication system for real-time data transmission
This project paper explores Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology for data transfer. The developed system comprises the transceiver, which includes Raspberry Pi and a self-designed board, and a dongle, which includes a photo-sensitive diode for the reception of light signals. The Li-Fi technology is a visible light communication that utilizes light signals for data transmission and provides promising benefits over traditional communication systems. The main aim of this system is to show the real-time transmission of data and measure the speed of it. The data rate is measured concerning vertical distance and irradiance angle to show the performance metrics. In experiments, optimal points have been nominated where the developed system shows better performance.
