Research on enhanced oil recovery of super heavy oil based on FCD technology
Abstract Horizontal well technology is widely used in CSS (Cyclic Steam Stimulation) and SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) in super-heavy oil development. With the increase of CSS cycles, three contradictions are increasingly faced: first, the issue of non-conformance of horizontal section; Second, the horizontal well is susceptible to steam breakthrough and SAGD steam chamber during production. Third, the issue of higher cycle lower efficiency. FCD (Flow Control Devices) technology is a kind of technology that can realize the artificial control of downhole steam, oil, and water flow. The flow control devices and sand control string are integrated, and the production string is run into the original well to achieve uniform steam injection and fluid production, inhibit steam breakthrough, improve production profile, and increase oil well production. In this paper, the FCD technology is introduced briefly, and then the application of FCD technology in major oil fields, both domestic and overseas, is discussed. Finally, the field practice of FCD technology in enhanced oil recovery of Liao He Oilfield Special oil development Company is discussed.
