Finite element modeling of 10kV cement pole and mechanical response analysis of icing
Abstract In order to solve problems such as tower deformation and the toppling of 10kV distribution wire under the influence of ice covering, the physical model of a 10kV cement pole is built by using SolidWorks software, and the stress of cement pole under different ice covering thicknesses is analyzed in detail. Specifically, this paper simulates the maximum bearing capacity of the wire under seven different ice thicknesses of 0mm, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm, determines whether it exceeds the ultimate strength of the material, and generates the corresponding simulation model diagram. Through simulation analysis, this paper further discusses whether the unbalanced tension generated by the conductor on the pole and tower will lead to the structural damage of the 10kV cement pole under different ice thickness conditions. Special attention is paid to the simulation results of the deformation and toppling of the tower, and the vulnerable parts of the 10kV cement tower under the condition of ice cover are deeply analyzed. This study provides an important basis for the formulation of anti-icing design, which is helpful in improving the reliability and safety of distribution lines under extreme weather conditions.
