Metodología de autoaprendizaje en entornos simulados MAES en la formación de enfermería: revisión sistemática

The Self-Learning Methodology in Simulated Environments is a crucial approach to enhance autonomous learning. In this research, a systematic review was carried out using integrative methodology to gather and analyze previous studies on the effectiveness of this methodology in practical nursing education. To answer the PICO research question, 15 research papers published between 2014 and 2024 in English, Portuguese, and Spanish were analyzed. Qualitative, quantitative, and mixed designs were included, with no restrictions on the educational level at which they were studied. The search string included MeSH and DeCS terms, as well as Boolean operators AND and OR. The search was conducted in PubMed, Elseiver, and Google Scholar. The PRISMA 2020 format was used in the study selection process, and the quality of the evidence was analyzed using the Johns Hopkins Institute format. The results showed improvements in critical thinking, the development of clinical competencies, and self-confidence. It was concluded that the self-learning methodology in simulated environments favors the development of clinical competencies, self-confidence, clinical judgment, and critical thinking in nursing students, surpassing traditional methods in these variables.
