About the influence of the loading effects on the results of research by GNSS observations

According to the data of the GNSS station velocity database (VDB) maintained at the Pulkovo Observatory, the correspondence of model loadings on station coordinates due to seasonal variations in Land Water Storage (LWS) to the real seasonal variations in coordinates estimated by the least squares method has been studied. It is shown that the model loadings from variations of LWS on the positions of GNSS stations in most cases are not adequate to the real seasonal variations of station coordinates for the studied territory of the Eastern European Craton.
