Consideration of dependency models for the foundation and efficiency of the social protection system

This article aims to explore the various dependency models related to the social allowances and benefits provided by state institutions and other organizations, the existence of which reduces the motivation to engage in the labor market and to change one’s social status, maintaining a certain degree of comfort and a continuous dependency on the social protection system. Additionally, these behavior models may transmit this dependency to future generations by perpetuating reliance and the possibility of regenerating poverty. Also, through this article, we aim to highlight the necessity and importance of considering dependency models for the improvement of the social protection system and the development of effective social assistance tools, with a focus on sustainability and the efficient use of resources.
