PHÁT HIỆN BURKHOLDERIA PSEUDOMALLEI BẰNG KỸ THUẬT LF-RPA

The application of the LF-RPA molecular biology technique for the rapid and accurate detection of Burkholderia pseudomallei, the causative agent of melioidosis in Vietnam, is essential. This method provided rapid results within 15 to 25 minutes, involved straightforward experimental procedures, and allowed the storage of biological products at room temperature. Additionally, it did not require PCR equipment or a modern laboratory system, and the results could be easily observed with the naked eye. The LF-RPA technique demonstrated 100% sensitivity and specificity in detecting B. pseudomallei. The detection limit of the LF-RPA test was 68.8 fg/μL of bacterial DNA or 10 CFU per 300 μL. DNA was directly extracted from soil samples with low purity, which is a key advantage for applying LF-RPA and LAMP techniques in mountainous regions and islands, where modern laboratories are unavailable or in cases where field testing is necessary.
