An Experimental Study of Computer Animation for Medical Visualization—Taking Alzheimer's Disease as An Example
This paper explores the important role that computer animation can play in medical visualization, using Alzheimer's disease as an example. As a communication medium, animation is not only entertaining, but also conveys a certain perception of values to the public, and shoulders the function of education and guidance. Through the case analysis of animation in medical visualization and the collation of relevant literature, this study used Blender, MAYA and other 3D modeling software in creation. We aim to combine animation with medicine, strengthen people's understanding of their own bodies and pay attention to healthy lifestyles, visualize complex abstract medical knowledge, and give sub-story context to increase interest and acceptance. In the future, animation medical visualization can even, in return, stimulate and assist medical research, demonstrating its potential in science popularization, medical education, diagnosis, treatment, research and development.
