A study on the proposed design of mobile application for blood donation
Blood supply should always be maintained and to keep it safe, blood centers try to keep an optimum level of three days of supply. However, attracting blood donors is quite difficult, especially if one does not have any immediate friends and family as regular donors or requires a relatively rare blood type. This study present a proposed mobile application called Bloodline that aims to facilitate blood donation services for both civilians and hospitals. A survey has been distributed to 35 respondents asking how much they know about blood donation, and if they prefer to have a mobile app that provides this service. Moreover, feedback were gathered from the respondents stating some improvements. In general, most of the participants had a favorable opinion of the idea of using a mobile application to access blood donation services.
