Method for Extracting Domain-Specific Phrases from Literature
In today's era, thanks to the rapid development of network technology, information on the internet is being generated at an explosive rate, with more and more data, information, and knowledge waiting to be mined and utilized. For a long time, text mining has been a research direction of significant value and importance in the field of information processing, with a broad range of applications. For example, in tasks such as named entity recognition, recommendation systems, or search systems, text mining can extract information from massive amounts of unstructured text that can be processed and perceived by computers. In the field of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), countless treasures are hidden within the ancient texts accumulated over thousands of years, but few have approached the extraction of entities and knowledge from the perspective of phrase mining. From the task's viewpoint, mining tasks are more focused on obtaining entities from text, often without prior knowledge of the entity categories, with emphasis placed on the mining process itself. This paper primarily studies the techniques and methods of phrase mining in TCM literature.
