FIRST EVALUATION TRAIL FOR REPETITIVE TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION FOR DRUG RESISTANT DEPRESSION IN WALES
+/-5.11) and HAM-D (pre-TMS=20.50+/-1.66,post-TMS=14.75+/-5.41) lowered by 31% and 28% respectively. The occurrence rate of brain state 2 (default mode network) increased by an average of 30% in MDD (pre-TMS=0.069+/-0.008,post-TMS=0.090+/-0.011) after 3 weeks of TMS, while healthy control (pre-TMS=0.072+/-0.006,post-TMS=0.075+/-0.010)coactivation remained constant. Conclusions: Findings reveal INSCAPE may help track TMS treatment response, and investigation is needed to demonstrate the utility of INSCAPE as a biomarker of TMS response.Future analysis of responders and non-responders to TMS for MDD may help to identify biomarkers which predict response to treatment.
