EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF DEEP REPETITIVE TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION USING H7-COIL IN TREATING NEGATIVE SYMPTOMS OF SCHIZOPHRENIA: A RANDOMIZED, SHAM-CONTROLLED TRIAL

sites.Repeated measures general linear model and power analyses were performed (SPSS).Results: There was a significant difference between the mean hand MT (45.808.44)and foot MT (56.479.54)(F=32, p<0.001;Effect size=1.1.Power=0.993).The ratio of hand/foot MT was 0.81.There was no significant difference between 120% hand MT and 100% foot MT with the H7 coil (F = 0.58, p = 0.49). Conclusions:The data indicate 100% foot MT is not significantly different than 120% hand MT for the H7 coil. These findings suggest that providers comfortable with foot MT dosing may not compromise the efficacy of the treatment, providing potential flexibility in administering Deep TMS for MDD.Further research is warranted to validate these results across diverse populations and clinical settings.
